Cachar Police detained popular content creator and founder of Karimganj Today (now Sribhumi Today) on Monday (June 16). He was detained in Silchar based on a complaint registered by an Aghori sadhu at Silchar Sadar Police Station.
Upon receiving information that he had arrived in Silchar today for work, a team from Cachar Police apprehended Deobjyoti alias Sujan Deb Roy.
He is currently being interrogated by Cachar Police at Sadar Police Station.
