Assam will establish Swahid Kanaklata Barua State University in Gohpur with a ₹400 crore investment, focusing on AI, Quantum Computing, and Industry 5.0 fields. Announced by CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, the move aims to empower youth with future-ready skills.
The cabinet also cleared 15 lakh grants for 500 Farmer Producer Organisations.
